This class is for 6 CEU hours for cosmetology license renewal in the state of South Carolina. This class is approved by the Board of Cosmetology. You will receive 6 CEU hours for license renewal.  THE FOLLOWING MATERIALS ARE RECOMMENDED FOR  THIS COURSE: 		Scissors			Hair extensions (2 packs of hair and a closure/frontal, or 3 bundles of hair and a closure/frontal)			Canvas wig block and adjustable tripod stand			1 spool of weaving thread			1 wig making cap with adjustable straps			10 wig t-pins			1 curved needle			1.5” wide elastic band			4 wig combs			1 tape measure			Silver Sharpie	 Learn how to make a high quality wig by hand. This is an introductory wig making class for aspiring wig artists who have never made a wig before. If you are a beginner, it is helpful to learn how to make wigs by hand to master precise track placement. Cosmetology instructor, Nia Lewis, is a wig making expert, specializing in making custom wigs. She has been teaching wig making classes for 2 years, and enjoys helping wig artists sharpen their wig making skills.  In this course, you will learn: 	How to make a lace closure AND lace frontal wig using the handsewn method	How to create customized wigs to fit different head sizes	How to measure the head for custom wig services We will make a wig together! Bring your materials to make a wig with me. If you don't have materials, you are welcome to look and learn!
