How to Allow Success into Your Life
Lately, I've been devoting my energy to positive thoughts and actions. This has significantly impacted my personal and professional growth in just a short period of time. I feel my business has grown more in just the last 6 months than it has in the past 2 years. I attribute this growth to a huge shift in my mindset about myself, my business and my life as a whole.
So, I was inspired to share these tips about how you can allow success into your life by making simple mental shifts that will help you to position yourself for prosperity.
Now, this whole idea of allowing success is based on a principle called The Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction suggests that positive thoughts attract positive experiences, and negative thoughts attract negative experiences. This means that we have the ability to attract and manifest whatever we desire in this life.
If we focus our attention and give our energy to what we seek to accomplish, and who we want to be, there is a greater chance that our desires will come to fruition. In short, we have the ability to allow success into our own lives. We are all already equipped with what we need to do whatever we want in life, it’s just up to us to open our arms and allow what’s meant for us to unfold.
So, today I want to inspire you to hop into the driver’s seat of your own destiny, and start welcoming the success that’s meant for you into your life using the following strategies:
1. Start thinking about your life for what it is, as opposed to what it’s not.
You can train your mind to do this by keeping a gratitude journal, and listing everything about your life that you’re grateful for every night.
If you remain in a poverty consciousness, you will continue to attract lack and limitation. This essentially means that when you constantly think about what you don’t have, what you’re not, and what you’re not ready for you will never be able to move beyond lack to attract prosperity.
Ultimately, negative thinking puts you on a negative wavelength. When you’re on a negative wavelength, you become blind to the possibilities and opportunities out there for you.
2. Visualize success.
There is so much power in visualization. Research suggests that athletes who visualize playing their best game before sporting events actually perform better than athletes who physically practice before games.
I challenge you to dedicate 10 minutes a day to visualization. Once a day, I want you to think of one goal you wish you carry out. Close your eyes and picture what life would be like if you accomplished that goal today. Visualize packaging and shipping out orders for the customers you wish to have. Visualize a day in the life of the life you desire.
3. Engage in positive emotional practices.
Really take a step back and reflect on what you are engaging in emotionally that is not positive for you.
You have to cut ties with what feels heavy for you emotionally. You know what it feels like for something to weigh heavy on you emotionally. You get a lump in your throat. You may feel anxious, nervous, or angry.
Sometimes we get so comfortable with this extra weight that feeling heavy becomes our normal. We walk around every day weighted down by negative emotions and wonder why we aren’t able to rise up into a more prosperous situation. It’s time to make room for the success you will attract by shifting your thinking.
I want you to remember that your thoughts ultimately shape your reality. What you give your attention to, and what you focus on will shape your future. I challenge you to re-train your brain to focus more on the good in your life. Focus on what you’re capable of, and what makes you feel light.
These simple mental shifts have tremendously transformed my life as an entrepreneur, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. When you work on what’s on the inside, what’s on the outside will come together for your good.
